The 19th edition of the Conference of Polish Corporate Treasurers Association (PCTA) was held on 24 and 25 November 2017 in Warsaw. The central theme of the conference was “Long-Term Financing – loans or other ideas”. Credit Agricole was the Main Partner of the Conference.
The Conference featured numerous presentations with the participation of partners and discussion panels on the conference central theme, namely the issues of long-term financing.
Credit Agricole’s contribution to the debate included a presentation by CABP chief economist on Poland’s macroeconomic situation taking into consideration the international context as well as a presentation on long-term leasing as an alternative source of financing, which discussed two case studies – non-standard financing transactions carried out jointly by CABP and EFL (Europejski Fundusz Leasingowy) for CABP corporate clients as well as leasing solutions offered by EFL. In addition, CABP representative took part in a discussion panel on trends in long-term financing in 2017 and tendencies for subsequent years.
The purpose of the Association is to promote and facilitate integration among Treasurers, as well as their comprehensive support in day-to-day tasks and activities, via i.a. providing forums for exchange of experiences and best practices , professional development and improvement of PCTA members knowledge and competences, sound development of various aspects of corporate treasury management , representation of the Polish treasurers community in discussion on economic forums and with the financial market, providing opinions about regulatory and legal acts, promotion of ethical behaviour among the Treasurers community.*
