Credit Agricole Bank Polska has a comprehensive offering of banking products for retail customers, small and medium businesses, corporations and farmers. The offering includes, among others, personal account packages, savings products, credit cards, investment funds and mortgage loans. The Bank also offers co-branded credit cards in cooperation with retail store chains.
Credit Agricole is one of the leaders on the consumer loans market. The Bank grants cash and car loans. The Bank’s installment loans are available in 16 thousand points of sales. The Bank is strongly committed to responsible financing.
At the end of 2012 Credit Agricole Bank Polska employed almost 5 550 persons.
Financial results
In 2012 the bank had a standalone net profit of PLN 199.9m with the revenues amounting to nearly 1.3bn. This is a nearly 70 percent increase compared with 2011. Such remarkable improvement was possible due to significant risk cost reduction from PLN 310.8m in 2011 to PLN 176.3m in 2012 (43.3 percent decrease) and keeping administration costs on the same level as in 2011.
Bank's own funds were at over PLN 1.48bn, and fully satisfied the capital requirements. The capital adequacy ratio remained at levels significantly higher than the 8 percent required by law, reaching 14.36 percent at the end of 2012. Efficiency expressed as Return on Equity amounted to 13.5 percent, whereas Return on Assets stood at 1.8 percent. (in 2011, 8.8 percent and 1 percent respectively).
Strategy
The strategy for 2010-2015 assumes positioning Credit Agricole Bank Polska among top universal banks in Poland and, at the same time, maintaining the leading position in consumer finance. The Bank plans to achieve these objectives by gradually increasing the number of active customers and building long-term customer relationships. The relationships with customers will be based on professional consultancy, offers tailored to individual needs and friendly customer service.
Since 2001 the French financial group Crédit Agricole, which operates in 70 countries, is the main shareholder of Credit Agricole Bank Polska. The Group provides Credit Agricole Bank Polska with know-how and financial support in achieving the strategic goals. Apart from Credit Agricole Bank Polska, the Crédit Agricole Group in Poland also comprises Europejski Fundusz Leasingowy, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank as well as Crédit Agricole Ubezpieczenia na Życie.
